PROJECTS AND COLLABORATIONS

Building handmade guitars is in many ways a very solitary profession since many guitar builders work alone. Working without distractions is often conducive to letting creativity flow uninhibited, but it can also become a lonely place. Inspiration and connection to the outside world is crucial, and Michael has found that working together with colleagues is not only fun but also tremendously enriching his work. Over the last decade he has joined with others for special projects, some of them a one-time event and some ongoing.
